Parking

The Gateway East Garage and JACK Cleveland Casino Garage are two on-site garages that accommodate 3,300 cars. Both garages are accessible and have multiple passenger elevators to access the venue at ground level while the Gateway East Garage has a connecting bridge that leads directly into the facility. The bridge can be accessed off Garage Level 3 from the elevators. Guests must have event tickets to enter the venue via the bridge.

NOTE: Event parking prices will automatically populate and will vary by event.

Gateway East Garage Update

The Gateway East Garage is under the new management of Metropolis Technologies. With the implementation of their Vision Technology Platform, your parking experience will now use license plate readers for your parking convenience. This technology logs your entry and bills you automatically on exit. You can sign up and register when you park by scanning a QR code on posted signs inside the garage or by visiting app.metropolis.io from any web browser.

Parking Passes

Guests that have Rocket Arena specific parking passes (Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Monsters or Rocket Arena Events) the Gateway East Garage will begin accepting parking three (3) hours* prior to the start of the event.

Accessible Parking

Gateway East Garage has a limited number of designated spaces to accommodate vehicles with the appropriate international handicap access symbol. These spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Limited space (with a 9’6″ clearance) is available for vans in the East Garage.

Dual Event Parking

When there is a dual event at Rocket Arena and Progressive Field (Cleveland Guardians game), the Gateway East Garage will ONLY accept parking passes purchased in advance.

A variety of other parking options are available within a five- to ten-minute walk of the arena.

Directions

Located in downtown Cleveland, Rocket Arena is in the Gateway District on the corner of Ontario Street and Huron Road at 1 Center Court, Cleveland, OH 44115. The arena sits 1/4 mile from all major freeways and is easily accessible from exits off the I-90 Innerbelt, I-77 and Route 2 as well as the Lorain/Carnegie bridge and other east-west arteries.

Directions from the East

Take Interstate 90/Rt. 2 West. Follow signs to downtown Cleveland. Remain on Rt. 2 as I-90 curves away to the left. Exit at E. 9th St.; turn left on E. 9th St.; south to area parking.

Directions from the South

Take I-77 North. Exit at E. 9th St. Follow signs to either E. 9th St. north or Ontario St. north to arena parking.

Directions from the West

Take I-90 East. Exit at East 9th Street and proceed north to area parking. Rocket Arena is located at the corner of Huron Road and Ontario Street.

Directions from the Southwest

Take I-90 East or I-71 North to the Innerbelt merge. Continue on the Innerbelt (I-90) East to East 9th Street. Proceed north to area parking. Rocket Arena is located at the corner of Huron Road and Ontario Street.

Directions from Cleveland Hopkins Airport

Take I-71 North. Continue on the Innerbelt (I-90) East to East 9th Street. Proceed north to area parking. Rocket Arena is located at the corner of Huron Road and Ontario Street.

New Traffic Pattern

The City of Cleveland is near completion of a new street configuration being installed on Huron Rd. and Prospect Ave. near Rocket Arena. This City project is designed to improve safety, accessibility, and comfort for all users in the Gateway Neighborhood downtown and will make Huron one-way going East towards E. 9th St. and Prospect one-way going West to Ontario St.

It’s important to note even with this new configuration nothing will change postgame leaving the Gateway East Garage as upon exiting the garage on Huron traffic will be directed immediately West on Huron Rd. to Ontario St. to make egress for our fans as efficient as possible.
