Specialty Recycling
Rock Entertainment Group and Rocket Arena recycle materials such as electronic waste, old equipment made from mixed metals, batteries, lightbulbs, through a certified-ITAD partner. All materials are recycled safely in the United States with Universal Recycling Technologies.
This season Rocket Arena diverted over 20,000 pounds of materials.

Sustainable Retail Efforts
This season, the Cleveland Cavaliers released a limited-edition retail collection made from fully traceable organic cotton and manufactured right here in Cleveland, Ohio.

Made in Cleveland. By Clevelanders. For Clevelanders.
Bamboo Retail Bags
All Center Court locations offer retail bags made from 100% bamboo. The new retail bags are crafted from 100% FSC Certified Bamboo, a renewable resource that serves as a sustainable alternative to traditional paper and cardboard. Bamboo is a fast-growing grass that produces 35% more oxygen while absorbing up to six times more CO2 than an equivalent stand of pine trees. These bags are water-resistant, stiff, and sturdy, ensuring they can handle various products while maintaining their integrity.
Bamboo is chosen for its remarkable environmental benefits. It can be harvested without harming the roots, allowing it to regrow quickly. This rapid growth process makes bamboo exceptionally efficient at removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, outperforming trees by up to six times. Additionally, bamboo thrives in poor soils with minimal irrigation and pesticides, making it an ideal sustainable choice.
Center Court invites all visitors and customers to join in embracing this sustainable initiative. These bags are not only recyclable but also compostable, providing a complete lifecycle that aligns with our commitment to environmental stewardship. Fans are encouraged to reuse these bags whenever possible and then recycle or compost them at the end of their life.
