A Taste of Black Cleveland

The Cleveland Cavaliers, Black CoLabs, Aramark Cleveland, and NAACP are proud to present A Taste of Black Cleveland: The Food Showcase 7.0 on Thursday, July 31 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Rocket Arena. The tasting portion will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., where guests can sample signature dishes and desserts from 20+ Black-owned establishments. After the tasting, we encourage you to stick around while we tally the votes and announce our A Taste of Black Cleveland 7.0 winners. The bar will remain open, and we’ll keep the fun going with music and entertainment.

The seventh annual A Taste of Black Cleveland welcomes the public to celebrate the city’s thriving Black-owned culinary scene.

The event shines a spotlight on the diverse culture, cuisine, and live entertainment of our local Black community. Chefs will prepare their signature dishes for guests to sample and vote on, with the winning participants receiving a grand prize.

All proceeds from A Taste of Black Cleveland will benefit the participating businesses, The Cavaliers Community Foundation HBCU Scholarship Program, and Cleveland NAACP.

Tickets for the Tasting Experience include two drink tickets and food tastings from over 20 local Black chefs and dessert vendors. The ticket also grants one vote in the contest for top participants.

The VIP Experience includes admission to the tasting experience as well as entry to a VIP area featuring exclusive food tastings, additional drinks, and a Cavs ticket for a select game for the 2025-26 season.
